The building that housed Nick's Palace is currently used by some small furniture and textile manufacturers. It is also home to Maison Norman Bethune, the Revolutionary Communist Bookstore.
The top floors of the building had been taken over by an illegal grow-op in 2016, which the police raided and closed. Though work has been done to clean the floors occupied by the grow-op, the humidity required to keep the pot plants healthy has seriously damaged this already declining industrial
building from 1961. Still, there are businesses flourishing on the remaining floors, including the Pentecostal church that currently occupies the former strip-club.
